Narelle & Paul's Wedding

Hi everyone.

We had the pleasure of recently photographing the wedding of Paul & Narelle.

They had the most beautiful day, surrounded by wonderful family & friends. Their wedding was a beautiful,simple affair.Tasteful and filled with the details of what is most important to them.

One of my favorite weddings ever. The love & simplicity of the day really promoted what they were all about & I was totally in tears during the ceremony. Thanks guys!!

New Awards : S.A Wedding Photographer of the Year!!

OhmyGosh!! I cannot believe it has been so long since I wrote the last post on my blog, so for those keeping track, I really do apologize.

We have had such a busy time of things of late , but I do promise to try harder.

What's new at Visage? 

actually , heaps.

At the end of July, I headed off to Melbourne to attend the AAPP National Awards, which was really terrific, & I again return inspired, motivated & rearing to go. AND, I was thrilled to pick up the AAPP S.A Wedding Photographer of the Year for 2009.

I was totally not expecting it, as I had lost count of the awards total during the year & I think also still coming of my Venice & Paris high.

These kind of industry awards help our clients to feel secure that at Photography by Visage we are credible, professional & stand out from the crowd, so it is  very exciting to be awarded by our peers.

August Exposure was held again in Qld at the Gold Coast, & I attended as a speaker, but mostly a delegate this year.It was a fantastic time to reconnect with the  wonderful people that I met last year & meet some interesting  new friends.

So, after this amazing year of travel for me, & with the knowledge & growth that I have experienced as a photographer, I am so excited about taking my work to the next level & offering my clients a product that I consider photographic art.

So, definitely keep an eye out for our new work & enjoy!!

I can jump puddles

Hi .

Its certainly been a while since I have added a new blog, & I thank you for your patience.

Megan & I travelled to Paris & Italy recently & we had such an amazing time.

I will endeavor to update the blog with a few photos in the next few weeks.

I had the pleasure of  recently photographing this little lady for my upcoming book" Living Portraits"

She was the most beautiful little girl & just a delight.We had such a great time & its easy to see why I love what I do.

Riverland & Mallee Childrens Photography: Living Portraits

Hi again & welcome !!

We are just about to launch our 09 fundraising project "Living Portraits"

We are hoping to raise over $10,000 this year for cancer research by photographing families around the Riverland & Mallee & publishing a beautiful book of our favourite images.

With a maximum of 150 children to be included, I think we may have many on our waiting list for the next edition!!

YES!!! WE TRAVEL!!!

Even though we are located in rural South Australia, many people email us & tell us that they love what we do, and feel its quite different to what they find elsewhere(I hope thats a compliment!!), but they assume that we either wouldn't travel, or that the cost would be too high.

We seriously love photographing weddings in new locations , finding the greatest spots to photograph in. Most of which, our clients say that they have driven past many times and never would have seen it like that.

Thats the benefit of fresh eyes.

Our traveling fees are kept to a minimum , usually only covering the cost of fuel .

If we need to stay overnight, & I don't have relatives close by, then a budget hotel or caravan park is fine.As long as its clean, safe, and not scary, then it's fine. 

So, if you love what we do, are prepared to meet with me in my area... then traveling for us is nooo problem.

Just ask!!

Hi Guys,

A few days ago, we had the difficult task of photographing a wedding on a 44+ degree day in the Riverland.

What an amazing day.

While it was extremely hot, this  wonderful couple, their friends & family, enjoyed a very special day.

It was an absolute joy to be involved and capture the essence of their wedding.

The whole bridal party were just wonderful. They were so happy & obliging to do whatever was asked of them, and it is to their credit that we were able to achieve the quality of images that you will see.

Welcome !!! Wow its been so hot lately.

Very difficult weather to photograph in, but our clients have been amazing and persevered to end up with beautiful images.

Thank you so very much for making my job easy under difficult conditions.

Just a little housekeeping regarding copyright

I love being able to provide to our clients the opportunity to view  a little taste of their photos online, & send their friends & family to the blog to enjoy their images, but in this day & age with digital being so easy to copy, I must remind people that the images are protected by Australian Copyright Law.

This is our income, and the sale of these images enables us to be able to provide them for you in the first place.

To protect our income, we have had to include a copyright sign on the images uploaded.

This is very common practice these days, but we have only just recently felt the need to join the thousands of other photographers across the globe.

We have made every effort not to compromise the images, by not putting it across faces etc .
